Sunrise hike

A fantastic spot for the perfect sunrise!

It's best to start around 1.5 hours before sunrise - just before dawn.
Follow the hiking trail towards Silbereck, which takes you through a still sleepy, quiet forest to the Salzkopfzahn.
There you leave the official path and keep to the cairns - small sunrise signs soon point the way.

If you like, you can then take in two particularly beautiful viewpoints:
From one you have a marvellous view of the upper Rotgüldensee, from the other you can marvel at the RogSi from above.

We will be happy to put together your breakfast rucksack with a snack, fizzy drink and picnic blanket for you! 🧺🥂☀️

In case of bad weather (snowfall), the hut tenants may leave the hut earlier in autumn.

In extremely bad weather conditions, we also have limited operation in the summer season!
